How has attending an HBCU set you up for success?

Being surrounded by Black scholars, creatives, and leaders has reinforced the idea that success isn’t just possible, it’s expected. It's inspiring.

What inspired you to apply for the "Celebrating Fashion Future" program?

I was inspired most by the program's commitment to nurturing emerging talent and pushing the boundaries of what fashion can be. This opportunity isn’t just about professional growth for me; it’s about contributing to the evolution of fashion itself.

What drives you? Share your passions, values, or a defining experience that shaped who you are today.

At my core, I am driven by creativity, culture, and impact—the ability to transform ideas into tangible experiences that tell a story and resonate with people. My passion for fashion, digital design, and storytelling is rooted in my love for self-expression.

How do you see yourself as part of Fashion's future? What unique perspective or contribution will you bring to the industry?

I see myself as a bridge between tradition and innovation, culture and technology. My unique contribution lies in my ability to blend fashion, technology, and branding to create designs and experiences that are both visually compelling and culturally resonant.

What excites you about the intersection of entrepreneurship and corporate careers, and how do you see yourself navigating both worlds?

Both worlds offer unique opportunities—corporate careers provide resources, mentorship, and large-scale impact, while entrepreneurship allows for personal expression, ownership, and the freedom to challenge industry norms. I see myself in the corporate fashion world—whether in fashion design, digital branding, or creative direction—to build expertise, expand my network, and gain a deep understanding of the industry’s inner workings. But, I also see myself on the side pursuing entreprenuership and passions utilizing the skills and lessons I've learned through corporate. I don't believe in limiting myself. I don’t see corporate and entrepreneurship as opposing forces—I see them as complementary
